2024 Results of the Equatorial Forest
La Forestière Équatoriale has published its results for the 2024 fiscal year. Operating income stood at -185 million CFA francs, a slight decline compared to the previous year (-167 million CFA francs). This increase in losses is attributable to higher expenses, including fees, expenses, and taxes on interest income.
Despite this, the financial result shows a notable improvement, reaching 856 million CFA francs, compared to 641 million in 2023. This increase is mainly due to an increase in dividends received and interest income.
After tax, net profit stood at 649 million CFA francs, compared to 440 million the previous year. A dividend of 3,300 CFA francs per share will be proposed, unchanged from last year.
