2024’s Top 50 Local Business Leaders Announced by Alignable

Alignable.com has just revealed the winners of its 2024 Local Business Person Of The Year Contest, marking a significant increase in community engagement amongst North American business owners. The contest saw a notable participation of over 309,000 votes and more than 64,000 recommendations, highlighting the dedication and support within the local business communities across the U.S. and Canada. A total of 5,171 local winners were acclaimed, out of which 50+ standout leaders were recognized for their exceptional contributions in guiding peers and uplifting their communities amidst economic challenges.

The annual competition, which ran from January 8, 2023, to February 23, 2024, evidenced a 40% increase in participation from the previous year, showcasing its growing popularity. These local winners, who come from diverse regions, have been celebrated for their efforts in networking and expanding their businesses, thus earning special badges on their Alignable profiles. According to Alignable's CEO, Eric Groves, this year’s contest has not only amplified the connections within networks but also opened up new business opportunities, proving the robust impact of collective support among small business owners.
