3U HOLDING AG Connects First Wind Turbine in Langendorf Project

3U HOLDING AG has successfully installed the first of five new wind turbines in the Langendorf repowering project. This marks a significant step in the company’s €70 million venture, set for completion by February 2026. The new turbine adds 6.2 megawatts of green energy to the grid, signaling a strong commitment to renewable energy in the region.

The project replaces old turbines with modern Vesta models, increasing the wind farm’s capacity from 22.5 to 43 megawatts. This upgrade will provide eco-friendly electricity to 30,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 40,000 tons annually. The strategic investment aims to boost the Group’s energy output from 53 to 73 megawatts.

CFO Christoph Hellrung emphasizes the project's role in enhancing efficiency and increasing the Group's energy capacity. More projects are underway, including expansions in Klostermoor and North Rhine-Westphalia, all aimed at cementing 3U HOLDING AG's role in the renewable energy sector.
