Khufu's in Egypt Tops the 2026 MENA's 50 Best Restaurants List
Khufu's, located in Giza, Egypt, has claimed the top spot in the Middle East & North Africa's 50 Best Restaurants 2026. This accolade comes after a ceremony at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi. The list, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, includes eateries from 14 cities, with 16 new entries this year.
Khufu's offers a unique dining experience, blending modern Egyptian cuisine with the iconic backdrop of the Great Pyramids. Dubai's Kinoya, Trèsind Studio, and Orfali Bros occupy the next three spots, with Orfali Bros dethroned after three years at number one. Beirut's Beihouse rounds out the top five, earning the Highest New Entry Award.
Special accolades were given, including the Highest Climber Award to Reif Kushiyaki Cairo, and MENA's Best Female Chef to Sara Aqel. The Sustainable Restaurant Award went to Farmers, and Dubai's Middle Child was named the One To Watch.
