ABEO, a leading global supplier of sports and leisure equipment, announced its revenue and order intake for the first quarter of its 2024/25 financial year. The company reported consolidated revenue of €56.6 million, a slight decrease of 2.4% compared to the same period last year. Order intake showed positive momentum with an increase of 5.3%, reaching a record €68.6 million.
The Sports division saw a 7.1% increase in revenue, driven by Gymnastics and activities in the Benelux region. However, the Sportainment & Climbing division experienced a significant decline, with revenue falling by 28.2%. The Changing Rooms division showed a modest rise of 1.6%, supported by strong demand in the UK and Germany.
Despite the overall drop in revenue, ABEO remains optimistic about its growth prospects. The company expects its participation in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to enhance visibility and boost commercial momentum. Fun Spot subsidiary's repositioning efforts are anticipated to improve operating performance.
