ABO Energy Secures Additional Wind Tariffs in Recent Tender
On March 25, 2025, ABO Energy continued its winning streak by securing three new wind project tariffs in the German Federal Network Agency's latest tender. The awarded projects include Külsheim in Baden-Württemberg, Großenlüder in Hesse, and Schälker Heide Schwerte in North Rhine-Westphalia, with a combined capacity of 39.8 megawatts.
This success follows a record 2024 when ABO Energy secured tariffs for 200 megawatts and permits for 335 megawatts in Germany. The recent tender covered 422 bids totaling 4.1 gigawatts, with an average award value of 7.00 cents per kilowatt hour.
Kristof Frank of ABO Energy emphasized the importance of this continuity amid upcoming political changes, confident that the energy transition remains a priority for the new government. The new projects are anticipated to launch between late 2026 and mid-2027.
