GACM's Solvency II Ratio Increases to 222% as of June 2025

On August 8, 2025, the Group des Assurances du Crédit Mutuel (GACM) reported a Solvency II ratio of 222% as of June 30, 2025. This marks an uptick of 9 percentage points from December 31, 2024, driven by favorable trends in claims costs and economic conditions in the first half of the year.

The ratio was determined by comparing eligible own funds of 15,041 million euros to the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR), which was 6,773 million euros. Notably, 92% of GACM's eligible own funds were classified as unrestricted Tier 1. Additionally, GACM's Minimum Capital Requirement coverage stood at 567%, up from 522% at the end of 2024.
