Aconnic AG Steers International Growth Amid Domestic Challenges

Network equipment provider, aconnic AG, based in Munich, reports international sales growth despite domestic economic challenges. In 2024, aconnic's COMMUNICATION NETWORKS division saw increased revenues in four out of its five key markets, although sales in Germany declined due to economic instability.

The company's CARBON CAPTURING & BIO-ENERGY division reported an increased revenue from 1.3 million EUR in 2023 to 3.3 million EUR in 2024, surpassing initial targets. The overall order backlog rose from 32.6 million EUR to 51.2 million EUR by the end of 2024.

aconnic invested in new products in the gigabit and security network areas to offset ongoing uncertainties in Germany. The preliminary EBITDA for the COMMUNICATION NETWORKS division and the CARBON CAPTURING & BIO-ENERGY division stood at 1.4 million EUR and 2.0 million EUR, respectively.

CEO Werner Neubauer highlighted international business success despite a weak German market. He anticipates demand recovery aligning with the growing order backlog.
