On November 18, 2024, Aéroports de Paris SA reported a significant increase in passenger traffic for October 2024. The group saw a total of 32.5 million passengers, marking a 6.5% rise compared to October 2023. Paris Aéroport alone recorded 9.1 million passengers, a 2.5% increase from the previous year.
Breaking down the numbers, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport welcomed over 6.2 million passengers, up 3.9%, while Paris-Orly saw a slight decline of 0.6% with nearly 2.9 million passengers. Notably, international traffic showed diversity with the Asia-Pacific region experiencing a substantial 20.1% increase.
The group’s international airports, including TAV and GMR Airports, also contributed to this positive trend. Overall, ADP's strong recovery rates, particularly surpassing pre-pandemic levels in various locations, highlight a promising rebound in air travel demand.
