Aeonian Resources Reveals Promising Copper Results at Koocanusa Project
Aeonian Resources Ltd. has announced significant findings from its recent surface sampling at the Koocanusa Project in southeastern British Columbia. The assays revealed up to 5,654 ppm copper, 15 g/t silver, and 379 ppm mercury from rock samples. These results indicate potential for sediment-hosted copper systems within the Purcell Basin.
The exploration targeted a 20 km trend in the east and a 42 km trend in the west, identifying multiple copper targets. The highest copper value was found at the Frankie zone, underlining the area's prospectivity. These findings will be combined with upcoming airborne EM geophysical survey data for further exploration refinement.
The 122 rock samples collected enhance Aeonian's geological model, indicating the project's district-scale potential. Future efforts will integrate geochemical anomalies with EM survey results to prioritize exploration targets.
