AGILE Network Launches to Accelerate Inclusive Education R&D

The American Group of Innovative Learning Environments (AGILE) Network, coordinated by Leanlab Education, has launched to centralize research, development, and evaluation in the education sector. The network aims to connect schools and educators with emerging technologies and research studies, enhancing education R&D infrastructure nationwide.

Member schools will influence the creation and assessment of new educational tools, addressing the market's lack of evidence-based solutions. The 2024-2025 studies will focus on generative AI, literacy, assessment, and mathematical reasoning. The network represents diverse educational experiences, prioritizing historically marginalized communities.

Key members include the Academy for Integrated Arts, Allegiance STEAM Academy, and Astra Nova Schools. Leanlab Education's CEO, Katie Boody Adorno, emphasized AGILE's role in breaking down barriers and accelerating educational breakthroughs. Initial funding and support come from organizations like the Siegel Family Endowment and Walton Family Foundation.

The AGILE Network builds on Leanlab Education's decade-long efforts, working with the Advanced Education Research and Development Fund and other partners to develop inclusive education innovations. The initiative seeks to create impactful, collaborative solutions that elevate education.
