AGRANA and RAIFFEISEN NÖ-WIEN Invest €5 Million in FOODLABS Fund

AGRANA and Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien are investing €5 million in the third fund by German fund manager FoodLabs. Each company is contributing €2.5 million to this fund, which includes over 60 companies in the food and agricultural technology sectors.

This investment grants AGRANA and Raiffeisen-Holding access to start-ups with innovations relevant to their business activities. Stephan Büttner, CEO of AGRANA, emphasized the importance of early-stage access to new technologies for boosting their innovative strength and expanding their portfolio.

Michael Höllerer, CEO of Raiffeisen-Holding, highlighted the necessity of financial support for entrepreneurial ideas and described the investment as a step towards encouraging entrepreneurship and promoting future-oriented solutions in the FoodTech segment.

Patrick Noller, General Partner at FoodLabs, expressed appreciation for the support from AGRANA and Raiffeisen, noting their joint commitment to leveraging innovations in agricultural and food technology to address current challenges.
