AGRANA Expects Significant EBIT Growth in 2025/26 Despite Earlier Decline
AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG has revised its financial outlook for the 2025/26 fiscal year, now anticipating a substantial rise in EBIT. Initially, a sharp decline in EBIT, exceeding 50%, was predicted for the second quarter of 2025/26. However, results were better than projected, with an EBIT of approximately €22 million, slightly down from €24.3 million compared to the previous year. In the first half of 2025/26, EBIT stood at around €28 million, a drop from €56.6 million in 2024/25. Revenue reached approximately €1,692 million, down from €1,861.7 million.
The Food & Beverage Solutions segment's steady performance has led to a revised expectation of a 10% to 50% EBIT increase for 2025/26. Nonetheless, the forecast for the Agricultural Commodities & Specialities business, including starch and sugar, remains tough. AGRANA is cautious, acknowledging the uncertain economic impact of geopolitical and global conditions on future business outcomes. Detailed reports on business developments will be available on 9 October 2025.
