Airbus Completes Share Buyback Transactions in November 2024
Airbus SE has announced the completion of share buyback transactions between 25 and 29 November 2024. These transactions fall under the second tranche of the buyback programme initiated on 9 September 2024. The programme aims to support future employee share ownership and equity-based compensation plans.
The authority for this buyback was granted by Airbus shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 10 April 2024, allowing the company to repurchase up to 10% of its issued share capital. The transactions involved a total of 554,600 shares with a daily weighted average purchase price of 138.7554 EUR.
This initiative aligns with Airbus's strategic goals to bolster employee participation in the company’s equity plans.
