Airbus Reports Share Buyback Transactions for Late September 2024
Airbus SE (AIR) has disclosed the results of its share buyback transactions from 23 to 27 September 2024. This move is part of a programme announced on 9 September 2024, aiming to bolster future employee share ownership and equity-based compensation plans. The programme operates under the authority granted by shareholders during the Airbus Annual General Meeting on 10 April 2024, permitting repurchases up to 10% of issued share capital.
For the specified period, Airbus reported the following cumulative buybacks: - 23.09.2024: 79,692 shares at €131.7651 - 24.09.2024: 49,931 shares at €134.5196 - 25.09.2024: 47,187 shares at €133.6203 - 26.09.2024: 70,332 shares at €134.3462 - 27.09.2024: 67,849 shares at €133.7273
The total transaction volume for these days amounts to 314,991 shares at an average price of €133.4786. Since the programme began, Airbus has repurchased 1,073,771 shares worth €140,965,690.32.
