Aldebaran Resources Expands Mineralization at Altar Copper-Gold Project

VANCOUVER, BC – Aldebaran Resources Inc. announces significant findings from the ongoing drilling campaign at the Altar copper-gold project located in San Juan, Argentina. The company reports successful mineralization extension in five substantial step-out drill holes: ALD-24-235, ALD-24-236, ALD-24-237, ALD-24-238, and ALD-24-239. This extension covers both northern and southern edges of the known deposit, indicating a notable expansion of the mineralized footprint.

Noteworthy results include a 1,159.50 m interval of 0.24% CuEq in hole ALD-24-238, and a 410.50 m interval of 0.36% CuEq in hole ALD-24-235, among others. Each drill hole aimed to explore the mineralized boundaries identified in previous campaigns and to provide vital data for a future resource update. Particular interest was shown in hole ALD-24-239, which added significant mineralization in an area previously defined as waste.

CEO John Black expressed optimism about the project's future, highlighting the broadening of the mineralization footprint. The company's Chief Geological Officer, Dr. Kevin B. Heather, emphasized the potential for locating higher-grade mineralization with continued exploration. As Aldebaran prepares for an upcoming mineral resource update, the drilling campaign's latest phase targets the core areas of the Altar project, promising further exploration success.
