Algodon Fine Wines Launches Cabernet Franc Reserve 2020 in the U.S.

Algodon Fine Wines, a premium Argentine wine producer, has unveiled its Black Label Cabernet Franc Reserve 2020 in the U.S. For the first time, this microvinified wine from Argentina's San Rafael region is available to American consumers. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months, this vintage aims to offer an exceptional tasting experience.

Mendoza, Argentina, is emerging as a prime region for Cabernet Franc, rivaling France's Loire Valley. Algodon's winemakers employ meticulous techniques, including whole cluster maceration in French oak barrels, resulting in wines of depth and elegance. Mauro Nosenzo, Head Winemaker, highlights the wine's complexity and aging potential.

The wine presents an intense ruby color, with aromas of ripe cherries, strawberries, and plums, complemented by vanilla and tobacco notes. The palate is smooth, with a vibrant finish, ideal for aging.
