BRIEF

on Aliplast (Hera Group)

Aliplast Acquires Majority Stake in Kronos Polymer Polska

Aliplast, a subsidiary of Hera Group, has signed a binding agreement to acquire 70% of Kronos Polymer Polska. The acquisition will boost Aliplast's leadership in plastics regeneration, enhancing its recycling capabilities. The company plans to utilize a new industrial site in Gniew, Poland, to process polyethylene, increasing its production capacity by 12,000 tonnes annually.

The acquisition aligns with Aliplast's strategy to expand its footprint in foreign markets and strengthen its presence in the circular economy sector. By leveraging synergies within the Hera Group, the company's overall recycling capacity is expected to exceed 210,000 tonnes per year.

The finalization of the transaction is anticipated by the end of 2026, pending standard conditions. This strategic partnership will allow Aliplast to meet the rising demand for recycled plastics in Poland and adhere to stringent European environmental regulations.
