Allianz Reports Record Profit, Boosts Dividend and Buy-Back Program
Allianz SE has announced a record operating profit of 16.0 billion euros for 2024, marking an 8.7% increase supported by all business segments. Total business volume rose by 11.2% to 179.8 billion euros, driven by significant growth in the Life/Health and Property-Casualty segments. Shareholders’ core net income also advanced by 10.1% to 10 billion euros.
In the fourth quarter, Allianz saw a 16.0% rise in business volume, reaching 45.9 billion euros, with a 10.9% increase in operating profit to 4.2 billion euros, attributed primarily to the Property-Casualty segment. The company's Solvency II capitalization ratio remains strong at 209%.
Looking ahead, Allianz targets an operating profit of 16.0 billion euros for 2025, with potential variations of up to 1 billion euros. The firm has also proposed a 15.40 euros dividend per share, a 11.6% increase from 2023, and announced a new share buy-back program of up to 2 billion euros.
