Alstom, the leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has announced the appointment of Martin Sion as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026. This decision follows a thorough selection process conducted by the Board of Directors, based on recommendations from the Nominations and Remuneration Committee.

Martin Sion will take over from Henri Poupart-Lafarge, who has led Alstom since February 2016 and announced his intent to step down earlier this year. Philippe Petitcolin, Chairman of the Board, expressed confidence in Sion's ability to lead the company and highlighted plans for a seamless transition, with Poupart-Lafarge remaining in his role until Sion assumes responsibilities.

The company also disclosed that details of Sion’s remuneration package are available on its website.
