ALTEN Finalizes Acquisition of Worldgrid
On December 2, 2024, ALTEN, a global leader in engineering and IT services, announced the completion of its acquisition of Worldgrid, a business unit of Atos SE. This acquisition follows the announcements made on June 11 and November 5, 2024.
Worldgrid, known for its consulting and engineering services, primarily serves energy and utility companies in France, Germany, and Spain. The unit boasts nearly 1,100 employees and earned approximately €170 million in revenue for 2023.
ALTEN, with its vast experience and over 3,000 consultants worldwide in the energy sector, ensures that this acquisition will maintain full service continuity for Worldgrid’s strategic clients and staff. This move solidifies ALTEN’s position as a prominent provider of technological and engineering solutions in various industries.
