Amdocs Enhances eSIM Platform with RCS and FCM Integration

Amdocs Management Limited has announced the expansion of its eSIM SaaS platform, integrating Rich Communication Services (RCS) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android devices. This development results from collaboration with Google, certifying these services on the Amdocs eSIM Cloud platform, which will support advanced messaging capabilities essential for eSIM-enabled Android devices.

The integration involves Amdocs Entitlements Server with the Google Configuration Server (ACS) to enhance messaging capabilities, including VoIP and VoWi-Fi services. Furthermore, Amdocs eSIM Cloud provides features such as eSIM activation, subscription transfer, and integration with wearables. The ACS role encompasses managing device configurations and automating firmware updates and security patches, aligning with Amdocs' strategy for a seamless eSIM experience.

This collaboration aims to simplify connectivity by integrating Google Cloud, ensuring service providers can adapt to evolving customer demands, ultimately providing connected experiences globally. Amdocs will showcase this upgraded platform at the MWC in Barcelona from March 3-6, 2025.
