Amdocs Reports First Quarter Fiscal 2025 Results
Amdocs Limited announced its first quarter fiscal 2025 results, with revenue hitting $1.11 billion, down 10.9% year-over-year. In pro forma constant currency terms, revenue rose by 1.7%. This decline reflects the phase-out of certain non-core, low-margin business activities.
The company's profitability improved significantly, with a GAAP operating income of $199 million and an operating margin up 900 basis points from the previous quarter. The twelve-month backlog increased by $80 million sequentially, reaching $4.14 billion. Non-GAAP diluted EPS was $1.66, aligning with the higher end of guidance.
Amdocs forecasts fiscal 2025 revenue to grow by 1%-4.5% in constant currency terms. The company also reiterates double-digit total shareholder return targets. In the managed services sector, revenue made up 66% of total income. Amdocs repurchased $144 million in shares and maintained strong cloud service momentum.
