American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians Honors 2024 Outstanding Members of the Profession

The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), the ACOFP Foundation, and the Auxiliary to the ACOFP celebrated their 2024 award recipients during the 61st Annual Convention & Scientific Seminars from April 3-7, 2024, in New Orleans. These awards recognize individuals who have contributed significantly to the field of osteopathic medicine.

Among the prestigious awards given, Kathleen Rollinger, DO, was named Osteopathic Family Physician of the Year, and Craig Boisvert, DO, received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Awards were also given across various categories including Excellence in Advocacy, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Outstanding Female Leader of the Year, highlighting the ACOFP's commitment to honor excellence and diversity within the osteopathic community.

In addition to recognizing established practitioners, the ACOFP and its affiliates also awarded emerging leaders and students. The Master Preceptor Awards, the Sander A. Kushner, DO, Memorial Osteopathic Family Medicine Resident Award, and the Namey/Burnett Preventative Medicine Writing Award acknowledge the promising future of osteopathic medicine through the next generation of professionals.

Through these awards, the ACOFP, its Foundation, and the Auxiliary to the ACOFP continue to underscore their support and encouragement for those making notable contributions to osteopathic family medicine, promoting leadership, and improving public health.
