Amoéba is involved in the European SAGROPIA project
Amoéba, a French greentech company, announces its participation for the second consecutive year in the European SAGROPIA project. This project, launched in early 2024, targets reducing the use of conventional pesticides through natural solutions. SAGROPIA has a budget of €6 million and brings together ten key partners, including agro-industrial companies and research institutes.
The project's objectives include developing innovative pest control strategies, which will be tested in the field starting in 2025. Amoéba is participating with its biocontrol product AXPERA, which targets potato late blight and beet leaf spot. The project aligns with the objectives of the EU's "Farm to Fork" roadmap, which aims to reduce conventional pesticides and promote agricultural sustainability.
