Amprion Reports Strong Growth and Continued Grid Investments
Amprion GmbH, a key transmission system operator in Germany, has reported solid financial results for the first half of 2025. The company invested €2.0 billion into grid expansion and this has been reflected in its financial performance. Revenue for the period reached €3.1 billion, marking an 11.3% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
Amprion's Adjusted EBITDA rose by 33.4% to €792 million, while adjusted net income saw a substantial increase of 47.8%, reaching €288 million. These figures underline the benefits of an expanding regulated asset base, driven by higher investments.
Key projects such as the Rhein-Main-Link, Ultranet, A-Nord, and offshore grid connections have seen significant progress. The company remains on track to inject €36.4 billion into the grid by 2029, aligning with Germany’s climate goals.
May witnessed a successful green bond issuance, securing €1 billion in two tranches. These financial endeavors support Amprion's ambitious expansion plans.
