Ams OSRAM Achieves Strong FCF and Growth in Core Semiconductor Business

In the third quarter of 2025, ams OSRAM AG reported a robust free cash flow (FCF) of EUR 43 million and a 9% comparable growth in its core semiconductor business. Revenues for Q3 reached EUR 853 million with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 19.5%. The company's strategic focus on its semiconductor offerings and cost-saving initiatives, such as the 'Re-establish the Base' program, realized savings of approximately EUR 185 million.

The company is on track to generate over EUR 500 million from asset disposals by 2026. Investments in technology include a patent cross-license agreement with Nichia and advancements in infrared technologies, along with launching an industry benchmark 2D direct Time-of-Flight sensor platform. These initiatives aim to bolster customer IP safety and foster innovation in new markets.

ams OSRAM expects Q4 revenues between EUR 790 million to EUR 890 million, with an EBITDA margin of 17.5% ±1.5%. The company also anticipates significant fiscal contributions from the European Chips Act subsidies later in 2025.
