Amundi Announces Mergers of ETFs Set for April 5, 2024

Amundi Asset Management has announced the upcoming merger of several of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs), effective on April 5, 2024. The initiative, detailed in shareholder notices and available on Amundi's website, involves merging absorbed ETFs into receiving ETFs, with changes in ticker symbols and the continuation of the receiving ETFs' characteristics post-merger.

One specific merger example provided involves the "Amundi IBEX 35 UCITS ETF" and the "Amundi ETF MSCI Spain UCITS ETF." The former, characterized by physical replication, will absorb the latter, which employs synthetic replication. The impact of these mergers on the secondary market includes the discontinuation of trading for the absorbed ETFs on April 4, 2024, and the commencement of trading under new ticker symbols for the receiving ETFs on the London Stock Exchange the following day.

This reorganization is aimed at streamlining Amundi's ETF offerings and comes with a detailed timetable outlining the last trading day for absorbed ETFs and the effective merger date. Investors and stakeholders are directed to the Amundi website and attached notices for further details.
