Amundi Physical Metals plc Announces Issue of New ETC Securities
Amundi Physical Metals plc has disclosed the final terms for a new issuance of ETC Securities under its Amundi Physical Gold ETC. Dated 26 March 2024, this announcement marks the introduction of Tranche 540, consisting of 97,000 ETC Securities. This tranche forms part of the broader program envisioned to provide investors with exposure to the price of physical gold.
The securities, part of Amundi Physical Metals plc’s Secured Precious Metal Linked ETC Securities Programme, are designed to track the performance of gold prices, offering investors a secure method to gain exposure to the metal's market movements. The issue date for this tranche is set for 28 March 2024, with each security initially entitled to 0.03972732 fine troy ounces of gold.
Applications for the listing and trading of these securities have been made across several major exchanges, including Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, the Deutsche Börse, the Borsa Italiana, and the London Stock Exchange. Moreover, the transaction includes provisions for a total expense ratio of 0.12% per annum, reflecting the costs associated with the management of these instruments.
The issuance seeks to cater to investors' demand for gold exposure, as highlighted in the accompanying documents, indicating a strategy focused on tapping into gold's long-standing value as an investment asset.
