Aperam announces the cancellation of its shares
Luxembourg, May 29, 2024 - Aperam (Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Paris, Brussels: APAM and NYRS: APEMY) today announced the cancellation of 4,852,118 shares. This measure is part of its financial policy.
The cancellation takes into account shares already repurchased under the repurchase programs of 2.5 million shares, announced on February 11, 2022, and 3.5 million shares, announced on May 6, 2022. These programs had been authorized by the annual general meetings of shareholders of May 2019 and May 2022.
After this operation, the total number of shares issued by Aperam stands at 73,184,570, compared to 78,036,688 previously. Details of the share buyback programs are available on the Aperam website.
