Apex Critical Metals Expands Rare Earth Rights at Elk Creek

Apex Critical Metals Corp. has acquired significant rare earth element (REE) mineral rights at the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex in Nebraska. The acquisition, known as the Rift Project, covers two target areas with known REE mineralization: the East and West Zones. Historically, these areas have shown high-grade drill intercepts, including 155.5 meters at 2.70% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 236.2 meters at 2.10% TREO.

The Rift Project spans approximately 2,784 acres, positioning Apex as a major player in the district alongside NioCorp Developments Ltd. Nebraska offers a favorable jurisdiction for REE development due to private land ownership, facilitating streamlined permitting processes. Apex plans to initiate exploration, including drilling, in late 2025, focusing on areas with historical high-grade intervals.

This move aligns with U.S. efforts to increase domestic REE production amid global supply chain concerns, including China's production quotas. Apex aims to confirm and expand historical REE findings, leveraging modern exploration techniques.
