Arbonia Expands Market Hold with Key Acquisitions in Portugal and Germany
On October 16, 2025, Arbonia AG announced the acquisition of Cicomol SA, a Portuguese leader in premium CPL interior doors, and Rüthener Zargenbau GmbH (RZB), a German specialist in custom metal door frames. These strategic acquisitions aim to bolster Arbonia's position in the European market.
Cicomol, with a strong presence in Portugal, enhances Arbonia's reach, especially in the premium design and specialist doors segment. Synergies are expected, particularly in Spain, Portugal, and France, leveraging Dimoldura's market presence. The acquisition aligns with growth prospects in new construction and renovation sectors.
RZB, located in Rüthen, Germany, specializes in metal door frames for commercial properties. This acquisition reduces Arbonia's reliance on external suppliers. Together, these companies contributed approximately EUR 20 million in sales in 2024.
