Argo Blockchain PLC Updates Hosting Arrangements
Argo Blockchain PLC has announced an amendment to its hosting agreement with Merkle Standard LLC. The arrangement now includes hosting 8,113 S19J Pro miners at Merkle's Memphis, Tennessee site. This is an increase from the 5,293 miners reported in January. These devices, previously located at Helios, will be operational between February and March for at least one year.
An additional 2,500 S19J Pro miners are set to be hosted at Argo’s Baie Comeau facility in Quebec. The company anticipates that by the end of March, 46% of the 23,000 Helios-hosted miners will be operational. As refurbishment continues, Argo's hashrate is expected to rise steadily during the coming months. The company is still negotiating arrangements for the remaining miners.
