Ascendant Resources Improves Metallurgical Outcomes at Lagoa Salgada Project

Ascendant Resources Inc. has completed Phase I of its metallurgical optimization program at the Lagoa Salgada VMS project in Portugal, showing significant improvements in metal recoveries and concentrate grades. Zinc recovery increased to 79%, up from 70%, with concentrate grades rising from 35% to 43%. Lead recovery remains strong at 53% with successful mercury content reduction, enhancing economic potential.

The Stockworks domain also saw improved concentrate grades for zinc, lead, and copper, though further improvements are anticipated in Phase II using fresh samples. Ascendant plans to initiate this next phase soon, aiming to confirm these results and solidify the project's feasibility.
