Major Copper Anomaly Discovered at Storm Project in Nunavut

Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. and American West Metals have unveiled a significant copper anomaly at the Storm Project on Somerset Island, Nunavut. The discovery, labeled the Chevron Prospect, presents a 4.1km by 0.7km copper anomaly aligned with the Storm trend.

The geological characteristics of the Chevron Prospect mirror those of known copper deposits in the area, enhancing its potential for substantial new copper finds. Assay results from the Squall Prospect further confirm high-grade copper sulphides, similar to those in the nearby Corona Copper Deposit.

Drill results from the Tornado area indicate widespread copper presence within the prospective Allen Bay Formation, reinforcing the area's exploration potential. Despite no prior geophysics or drilling, the Chevron Prospect remains largely unexplored, underscoring the project's latent potential.
