Atlantis Gaming Corp. Embarks on Bold Real Estate Expansion
DETROIT, MI / ACCESSWIRE / August 29, 2024 / Atlantis Gaming Corporation (AGC/ATLANTIS) is making waves in the gaming industry with a "Real-Life Monopoly" strategy, led by Herb Strather.
Strather, a seasoned professional with over $2 billion in real estate transactions, is steering AGC's ambitious move into real estate. The firm has acquired the Lahser 6 Apartments, a 54-unit building, and a 55,000 SF office building on W. McNichols Rd., both in Detroit. These deals, worth $2.2 million and $1.8 million, are executed through a 100% stock swap for equity.
Acting CEO Linda I. Bailey, who succeeded her late husband Donald L. Bailey, emphasizes alignment with AGC's growth strategy. "This acquisition fits our diversification and asset enhancement plan," she noted.
Detroit's resurgence from bankruptcy has made it an attractive investment location. AGC's team, with a history in gaming and real estate, plans to leverage promotional campaigns featuring retired celebrities. The company also aims to launch a skill-gaming operator within six months.
The partnership seeks to complete $100 million in real estate transactions over the next five years, enhancing AGC's asset base and driving financial growth.
