Aton Resources Announces Promising Drill Results from Abu Marawat
Aton Resources Inc. has shared notable findings from its recent drilling program at the Abu Marawat deposit in Egypt's Eastern Desert. The initial results from 14 holes in the 2025 RC infill drilling program have highlighted significant polymetallic mineralization. Key intersections from the Fin Vein include 21.85 g/t gold over 20 meters in hole AMP-225, and 17.13 g/t gold over 9 meters in hole AMP-218.
CEO Tonno Vahk expressed satisfaction with these results, emphasizing the potential for recovering valuable metals, such as gold and copper, through conventional processing methods. In addition to Abu Marawat, the company is progressing with the Hamama gold mine development, with ongoing metallurgical testwork and plans to appoint contractors for the Hamama West heap leach project.
The Abu Marawat deposit, first identified in 2012, hosts distinct veins containing gold, silver, copper, and zinc, and remains open for further exploration.
