Atos sells Worldgrid to ALTEN for 270 million euros
On November 5, 2024, Atos, a specialist in digital transformation, announced the sale of its Worldgrid business to ALTEN for €270 million. Worldgrid focuses on consulting and engineering for the energy and utilities sector, employing 1,100 people and generating revenues of €170 million in 2023.
ALTEN, a recognized leader in IT and engineering, plans to ensure continuity of services. Regulatory and employee representative body approvals have been obtained. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2024.
