AUTO1 Group Enhances Efficiency with AI Damage Detection
Berlin, December 18, 2025 – AUTO1 Group SE, a leading digital platform in Europe for used car transactions, has expanded its AI-powered damage detection system, AUTO1 Car Audit Technology (AUTO1 CAT), to five of its twelve Autohero production centers. These centers are located in Germany, Spain, France, and, as of December, Italy.
The AUTO1 CAT integrates advanced hardware with AI to scan vehicles and detect approximately 90% of damages, instantly identifying issues such as dents and scratches. This technology is now part of AUTO1 Group's refurbishment process, enhancing the efficiency and transparency in used car inspections.
The Group plans to implement this technology in additional centers across Europe by 2026. Meanwhile, AUTO1 Group maintains that this rollout will not affect its financial guidance for the year.
