Azarga Metals Releases NI 43-101 Technical Report for Marg Project
Azarga Metals Corp. has announced the filing of an NI 43-101 independent technical report for its Marg project in Central Yukon. This project features high-grade, copper-rich Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) deposits. The 2025 mineral resource estimate shows an indicated resource of 4.3 million tonnes with a copper equivalent (CuEq) of 2.9%, and an inferred resource of 10.0 million tonnes with a CuEq of 2.3%.
The Marg deposit presents opportunities for expansion as it remains open to the east, west, and down dip. Additional VMS deposits were identified in the Jane zone, indicating potential beyond the Marg deposit within the property. Previous assessments suggested potential for both open pit and underground development. Recent metallurgical studies indicate feasibility for producing copper, lead, and zinc concentrates.
