Bahrain prepares to host 2nd edition of Fintech Forward in October

The main part of the 2024 Transformation Agenda series will be programmed by Economist Impact and organised by Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB) with the support of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB). The event will be held on 2-3 October 2024 at Exhibition World Bahrain.

The CBB, as the country’s sole financial regulator, has consistently boosted the competitiveness of Bahrain’s financial services sector. The institution supports the transition to a digital economy with new regulatory frameworks and innovative platforms. The Bahrain EDB attracts investment in key sectors, while fostering a progressive legislative environment.

With a thriving financial ecosystem that includes international banks and innovative players such as crypto-asset service providers, Bahrain is a major fintech hub in the Middle East and North Africa. Fintech Forward 2023 has already welcomed participants from around the world, and the 2024 edition is eagerly awaited.
