Banyan Gold Reports High-Grade Discoveries at Airstrip, Yukon
Banyan Gold Corp., based in Vancouver, announced significant drilling results at the Airstrip Deposit within its AurMac Project, Yukon. The latest assays highlight high-grade gold mineralization, offering promising development opportunities.
The Airstrip site returned significant findings, such as hole AX-25-708 with 1.49 g/t Au over 8.8 meters and a high-grade interval of 35.98 g/t Au over 1.6 meters. Hole AX-25-782 reported 2.99 g/t Au over 5.7 meters, and other holes like AX-25-804 revealed broad mineralized zones, indicating strong continuity and potential for expansion.
CEO Tara Christie emphasized improved continuity in high-grade gold zones, vital for the project's success. With active exploration and ongoing drill program, the company targets substantial resource growth in 2026 by converting waste blocks to ore in future estimates.
