BASTIDE strengthens its position in Canada and sells its French subsidiary CICA PLUS
Bastide Group announces an extension of its operating authorization in respiratory assistance in British Columbia, Canada. This extension, via its subsidiary Medpro Respiratory Care, could generate a potential turnover of 5 million Canadian dollars. Present on this market since 2022, Bastide aims to develop oxygen therapy and sleep apnea in this region.
At the same time, Bastide is selling its French subsidiary CICA PLUS, which specializes in chronic wound care. CICA PLUS generated sales of €3.4 million in 2023-2024, but EBITDA is loss-making. This sale is part of a strategy to reduce debt and rationalize unprofitable assets.
