Swissnet Group Expands Partnership with Major European Retailer

Swissnet Group, based in Switzerland, is broadening its existing cooperation with a prominent European retail company, announcing two new projects set to enhance the retailer's technological infrastructure. Partnering with Deutsche Telekom AG, Swissnet will oversee a major SD-WAN project, worth EUR 1.8 million, to upgrade the client's network and Wi-Fi across various European locations. Additionally, an upgrade involving the replacement of about 6,500 access points with Wi-Fi 7 technology is expected to generate EUR 0.4 million.

The retail company has trusted Swissnet's solutions like CloudWiFi and WLAN telephony systems for seven years. The new projects reinforce Swissnet's role as a key technology partner and deepen its strategic ties with Deutsche Telekom, established in March 2025. According to Boris Tölzel, Swissnet's Project Lead and CCO DACH, these developments showcase the synergy between long-term partnerships and advanced technological capabilities, paving the way for enhanced consumer experiences.
