Belimo's Climate Targets Validated by SBTi

Belimo, a leading player in the HVAC field device market, has received validation for its climate targets from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This marks a noteworthy advancement in Belimo’s climate strategy.

The company's CEO, Lars van der Haegen, emphasized their efforts to align with global climate goals through energy-efficient solutions. Key projects include the CESIM House in Shanghai, a LEED Platinum certified facility.

SBTi validation confirms Belimo's targets align with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C pathway. By 2030, Belimo aims to cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% and Scope 3 emissions by 51.6% per product. By 2050, they plan to reduce these emissions by 90% and 97%, respectively.
