Commercial Success for BIO-UV Group with the EFGL Project
BIO-UV Group has successfully deployed its BIO-SEA containerized ballast water treatment system in Port-la-Nouvelle, supporting the pioneering EFGL floating wind turbine project in the Mediterranean. This system treated water from three wind platforms before they were deployed at sea, in compliance with International Organization standards and local regulations.
The agreement with Euroports facilitated this operation by providing regulated deballasting services. The EFGL project, the first regional floating wind farm, underscores the key role of environmental technologies in offshore wind energy. BIO-UV hopes this success will stimulate the adoption of these solutions in Europe and beyond.
