BlackBerry Expands Cybersecurity Training in Malaysia with ISC2 Partnership
BlackBerry Limited has partnered with The International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) to offer globally recognized cybersecurity training in Malaysia. This collaboration aims to enhance digital skills as part of the BlackBerry Cybersecurity Curriculum at the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Cyberjaya. Registration is currently open for initial ISC2 courses scheduled for later this month.
The partnership expands the range of certified courses for cybersecurity professionals, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). These programs aim to bolster defenses against cyber threats as Malaysia advances its digital transformation.
Since March 2024, the CCoE has trained over 1,500 professionals. With this partnership, BlackBerry strengthens its role in Malaysia's cybersecurity workforce development. ISC2 will provide comprehensive training materials and support for these programs.
