An additional 430,000 attacks were identified against commercial enterprises. The report explores threat actors' evolving methodologies and highlights secure communication threats.

The report underscores the significance of collaboration between BlackBerry and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's National Cyber Crime Coordination Centre. Emerging threats such as Lynx ransomware and deepfake scams increasingly pose risks. North America and Latin America were the most targeted globally, with increasing incidences of AI-based scams prompting regulatory changes.
