BlackRock Crosses Threshold at Societe Generale
On August 5, 2024, Societe Generale received a statement from BlackRock, Inc., located in New York. The company announced that it had crossed the 5% voting rights threshold as of August 2, 2024, increasing to 4.87%. This change represents the holding of 43,775,690 shares, or 5.39% of Societe Generale's capital.
This decrease is due to sales of shares both outside and in the market, as well as a reduction in the number of shares held as collateral. BlackRock acts on behalf of clients and funds it manages. Certain clients may retain voting control based on their specific requests.
