BNP Paribas has announced its ambition to achieve a ROTE of 13% by 2028. This ambitious plan is part of the upcoming 2027-2030 medium-term plan. The group currently forecasts net income of over €12.2 billion in 2025, with a ROTE of 12% expected for 2026, thus completing the 2022-2026 plan.

The group is also targeting a CET1 ratio of 12.5% by the end of 2027. This growth is based on a diversified business model and investments already made. Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), thanks to an "origination and distribution" approach, remains a major growth driver.

With a focus on operational efficiency and a clear strategy across its various segments, BNP Paribas appears determined to continue its expansion while supporting the financial needs of the market.
